About TAA CEUs:
The Texas State Licensing Board has approved TAA as an approved CEU provider of continuing education required to maintain and renew State licenses. CE hours approved by TAA, TSHA, AAA, or ASHA are considered equivalent by the Texas State Licensing Board and must be approved by only one.
CE awardees are encouraged to track their Texas Academy of Audiology CE hours. While TAA keeps a record of CE information, TAA does not report these hours to other organizations, such as AAA or ASHA.
TAA-approved CEU hours may be acceptable to other organizations; however, TAA CEU awardees are responsible for getting those hours approved and submitted to other organizations.
Please note that with the passage of Texas S.B. 202 and pending signature by Governor Abbott, TAA will be evaluating and disseminating future processes/instructions for obtaining CEU approval through TDLR as details emerge.
Continuing Education Sponsorship Opportunities:
TAA is an approved sponsor for audiology and speech pathology continuing education hours in the State of Texas by TDLR.
