Podium Presentation Submission Information
A. Title of proposal (not to exceed 10 words)
B. Contact person: name, address, phone, fax, and email. The contact person will receive all correspondence regarding the proposal and is responsible for notifying all authors of the status of the proposal. The contact person is also responsible for serving as the liaison with AAS for the paper.
C. Abstract or proposal (not to exceed 200 words. No graphs or tables).
D. Indicate the focus of the proposal (eg: Auditory Processes in Children; Diagnostic Audiology; Speech Perception; Medical Issues; Hearing Aids: New Technology; Hearing Aids: Evaluation and Outcomes; Cochlear Implants; Hearing Science; Ethics; Audiology/Vestibular Disorders)
E. Learner Outcomes. Describe the skills, knowledge and/or attitudes that participants will be able to demonstrate after this session. "Participants will be able to:"
F. AV Equipment. All rooms will contain the following items:
- Screen
- Podium microphone
- Pointer
- LCD projector
- Individuals will be required to bring their own computers (Macintosh or PC Compatible).
- PowerPoint presentations preferred.
- All other equipment at the cost of the presenter equipment at the cost of the presenter
H. Author Information. You will need to enter the name, affiliation, city, and state for each author, as well as indicate if they are TAA member, nonmember, or student/resident. Reenter information regarding the contact person if that individual is also an author.
Podium Presentations will be 15 minutes in length unless otherwise invited by the program chair.
Tips:
- Be sure to review the Submission Information Page.
- Have your Abstract of Proposal completed and ready on your computer. This way you can simply 'paste' it into the required field.
- Have the contact information for all the authors ready.
- Allow yourself 20-30 minutes for the process.
