TAA PAC NEEDS YOUR CONTRIBUTION NOW.

Thanks to the generosity and commitment of Texas Audiologists, we were able to raise nearly $13,000.00 in our first year. This is a significantly higher per member contribution than for AAA and confirms the pro-active position of Texas Audiologists regarding the legislative process and the future of Audiology in Texas.We were able to contribute just under $10,000.00 to candidates in last spring's election with a 83% success rate of candidates winning their seats.

We are now entering a new phase of our legislative strategy for this spring's primaries and the general elections in November and we need your contributions and support again. At present we have just under $8,000.00 in the TAA PAC account which needs to be increased to accomplish some of our goals in the legislature. Two of the more important goals are related to audiology assistants and the Sunset Review of our licensure bill. We need to get started early in order to identify legislators who can be in positions to have a positive effect on our efforts.

The ideal way to make a contribution is to log in as a member and use the online PAC Contribution form on our secure server.

As an alternative, you may print out this TAA PAC Contribution Form and mail it with your contribution to the address indicated on the form. In order to comply with the requirements of the Texas Ethics Commission, all contributions over $50.00 will need your home address, employer and title. NOTE: Business checks/business credit card payments may NOT be accepted and all contributions to the TAA PAC are NOT tax deductible..

For those of you who have contributed to the TAA PAC in the past, thank you for your commitment to the future of Audiology in Texas. To those who have not yet made a contribution, please consider this as in investment in the practice of Audiology in Texas. No amount is too small and all contributions will be held in strict confidentiality.
