Many seek resources for eye examinations for infants with hearing loss, as officially recommended in the JCIH 2007 position statement. Optometrists who volunteer with the InfantSee program, sponsored by the American Optometric Association, will provide an eye exam for infants 6-12 months of age at no cost to the family, as a public health service.
